AMA(SA) Council
of General Practice
The role of the AMA(SA)CGP is to
ensure effective communication between General Practitioner
members and the AMA(SA) Council. Meetings are held regularly
to discuss issues relevant to general practice. Such issues
are wide ranging in nature and cover topics such as community
health campaigns, Family Doctor week, workforce planning
issues, and responses to medico-legal issues that affect
GPs. We have established a General Practitioners email network
to facilitate these discussions and to formulate responses
and provide advice to the federal AMA secretariat.
