Our Doctors
in Training Committee (DiT) meets regularly to discuss a
range of topics that influence the lives and careers of
young doctors: eg
working hours, unpaid overtime, meal breaks, workplace facilities,
access to study leave, accommodation and remuneration are
some of the current concerns being addressed by the committee.
The AMA(SA) works with both
medical school societies and the major training hospital
RMO Societies to promote professional and social activities
for young doctors.
