Membership fees are now due
All AMA(SA) members will by now have
received their membership renewal notices, and many have
already paid by the due date.
If you have changed status during
the year, you may now be entitled to a different rate, (eg
if you have retired or are currently on parental leave you
can access discounted rates) you should contact us on 8239
1678 or email Membership
for details.
Don’t forget that you can pay
your membership fees monthly. If you are experiencing financial
difficulties but still wish to retain your membership, the
AMA(SA) may be able to help you. You can apply for relief
or defer your payment on financial grounds, but you must
write to the President and make this request. The AMA(SA)
by-laws grant the Council with the ability to provide even
more flexible payment arrangements than those already offered,
but applications must be made in writing and the basis must
be financial hardship. You would retain all your membership
privileges, and obviously the request would be handled in
confidence.
