The AMA(SA)
is made up of members from every branch of the profession,
including those in public and private practice, specialists,
GPs, students, Salaried Medical Officers, academics, doctors
in training and more. There is a membership rate to suit
everyone in the profession, including those who work part
time or are on maternity leave. The AMA(SA) seeks to be
a truly representative body and welcomes membership from
all practitioners.
Membership is annual and expires in December of each year.
Membership dues can be paid monthly throughout the year
and in most cases are tax deductible. It is essential to
have current membership in order to gain assistance or advice
from the AMA(SA).
