Dr Conrad Williams
MB BS, FACEM
After graduating from the
University of Adelaide in 1994, Dr Conrad Williams commenced
specialist training in Emergency Medicine, rotating through
a number of both ward and Emergency Department placements
at TQEH, FMC and RAH as well as time in the United Kingdom.
Since 2008, he has been a full time Staff Specialist in
Emergency Medicine at the Lyell McEwin Hospital.
His clinical duties include direct patient care as well
as supervision and teaching of medical graduates at all
stages of training. Additional teaching commitments include
instructing on the Early Management of Severe Trauma and
the Advanced Life Support courses, as well as involvement
with the South Australian Ambulance Service Intensive Care
Paramedic course. His
non-clinical duties extend to several multidisciplinary
panels at Lyell McEwin, including the development and improvement
of trauma systems at LMH, and critical incident monitoring
and investigation.
