Mr Ross Roberts-Thomson

Ross Roberts-Thomson is
a 5th-year medical student at the University of Adelaide.
After graduating from Pembroke School in 2002, Ross spent
a year working in the UK as a teachers' assistant before
starting medicine in 2004. He has a keen interest in research
and has been an active member of the Cardiovascular Research
Centre since 2005. In 2007 he completed his Honours in Bachelor
of Medical Sciences.
Ross has sat on a variety
of student representative committees including the Students'
Association of the University of Adelaide, the Adelaide
University Union, the Adelaide Medical Students' Society
and the Australian Medical Students' Association (AMSA).
In 2007, he was the Academic Co-Convenor of the AMSA National
Convention and recently convened the Inaugural South Australian
Leadership Development Workshop.
Outside of study Ross enjoys
playing football, cricket, tennis and golf. He also enjoys
scuba diving and travelling and has already undertaken medical
electives in India and the Solomon Islands.
