Dr Chris Moy
MB BS, FRACGP
Ordinary Member of Council
Dr Chris Moy is a full-time
general practitioner working at large group practice in
Parkside. He is a graduate of the University of Adelaide,
and after working at the RAH and WCH, he has been in general
practice for some 16 years. His interests include aged care,
palliative care, and health IT and communication systems.
He has served on a number of aged care and health IT-related
committees including the ANEDGP Aged Care Panel, the CNAHS
Falls Prevention Steering Committee, and the HealthConnect
SA Development Group, and he has been a member of the Expert
Advisory Panel of the Advance Directives Review Committee.
With his wife, Monika, also
working in general practice, and with two primary school
aged children, he hopes that he will be in a position to
represent 'Generation-X' general practitioners: a group
not often involved in medical political debates. Away from
work, Chris enjoys golf, and more tellingly for his generation,
electronic games.
