Mr Anthony (Tony) Farfus

Student Representative on Council - University of Adelaide

Tony Farfus is completing his final year of medicine at the University of Adelaide. After finishing his schooling in Sydney in 2004, he moved to Adelaide to commence his medical degree. In 2009 he was a member of the Spencer Gulf Rural Health School Cohort, living and studying in two major rural centres of South Australia. His studies have also taken him overseas with placements in Hamilton, Canada and Galle, Sri Lanka.

He has a keen interest in medical education and student development, with active involvement in peer support groups, mentoring and will work as a tutor for pre-clinical students in 2010. He hopes to continue his involvement in education and student support after graduation.

Outside of medicine, Tony plays and coaches soccer. He is also training to compete in the 2011 Australian Crossfit Games.
